Not to be a pessimist but if you watch the news stories, cellphones, alarm clocks, and other electronic devices can cause cancer. I believe at one point potatoes were linked to cancer -- nowadays they say everything causes cancer.

Your best bet is to just stay healthy -- eat right, exercise, don't smoke, don't paint, don't go around any kind of strong odors/fumes. There's no proven way to prevent cancer -- early detection in the key.

There are no sure-fire ways to prevent cancer. But yes, eating right and getting exercise place the odds in your favor. Try to get organicly grown stuff if you can: The chemicals used to grow the others would still be present in your meat and vegetables otherwise.

Drink lots of fruit juices, especially the darker colored ones such as grape juice or cranberry juice. And drink tea rather than soda: These things and brightly colored vegetables will have lots of vitamins and antioxidants in them.

Get whole grain breads rather than white bread, if you can: They will have more fiber in them.

And learn to manage your stress levels: Stress weakens the immune system in general.

Good luck!

I suppose holding your breath for a lifetime and locking yourself in the closet would be the most ideal way however some people find this rather difficult. Cancer is still being studied under the microscope.

Make sure to eat your greens, like broccoli (dunno if you like them). Make sure that you do not live in areas with radioactivity in the air, this has made people be in contact in cancer as they produce tumors. I don't think excercise is what prevents cancer, but it's good for your health.
