Most of the major shoe makers produse a shoe that is less expensive than their high end models. If you are doing serious running, I highly recomend getting into a decent running shoe. that doesnt mean you need to spend 90 bones to do so however. Check out Sierra Trading post for good prices on nice brands. I have had luck with Asics and Brooks, who both offer options in the $50 dollar range.

As far as sweats and t's, I would recomend not wearing sweats. Try someting a bit thinner with better breathability. Also you can pick up inexpensive wicking t's from Sierra Trading Post. Good Luck!

I used to work in a department store as a stocking clerk, and I saw a lot of 'generic' sweats, and a few good but relatively inexpensive pairs of shoes.

Make sure you get good shoes, though, even if they are a bit pricier. I once tried to save money by buying some bargain-bin tennis shoes, and wore them for all of 3 days. And each day I felt like I had been beaten with a rolling pin from the neck on down. After that, I said 'Enough of this!' and went back to the store and bought another pair of shoes.

As someone already mentioned, New Balance are great as far as their price/quality ratio. I am not sure about sweat pants, I have Adidas pants. As far as t-shirts, if you mean running then get something that would not stick to your skin when you sweat. For casual wearing and being cool, look at the t-shirt that I made.

This is the same technique I have taught over 138,000 men and women in 157 countries to successfully treat their excessive sweating condition over the past 7 years!

For shoes, I recommend spending the money. Cheap shoes are usually no good for running. Try DSW, they often have name-brand apparel at manufacture prices.

Sweat pants and t-shirts: Wal-mart. (no one will know the diff)

NewBalance is the only shoe I've gotten for running that doesn't take forever to break them in, and doesn't hurt in the process.
