Truth is said to consist in the agreement of knowledge with the object. According to this mere verbal definition, then, my knowledge, in order to be true, must agree with the object. Now, I can only compare the object with my knowledge by this means, namely, by taking knowledge of it. My knowledge, then, is to be verified by itself, which is far from being sufficient for truth. For as the object is external to me, and the knowledge is in me, I can only judge whether my knowledge of the object agrees with my knowledge of the object.

The truth is out there! But it can be inside too. You just have to bring it in.
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life." By comming to Him, and through His Word and His Spirit, you can bring the truth that's out there inside.

Both statements are accurate and here is why I think so.
The truth is Out there is talking about the existance of life on other planets, so the truth about that is out there.
The Truth is inside is talking about spiritual truth and that comes from withinside oneself.

Truth is not a distinct part of life, it contains life and it is bigger than life (it is infinite) and includes other things as well
Some people find it hard to believe that there is truth beyond that truth we sense with our five senses, and some believe that truth does not include this life on Earth
both are mistaken for truth was, is and will remain

Jesus and heaven are out there.
Jesus lives within the hearts of believers.
He is the way, the truth, and the life.
The Truth is God's Word, and all that implies.
