It would say "wheat free" on it if it was. Many grocery stores carry wheat free breads, look around the bakery, or ask.

I've looked carefully at my packet (Arrowhead Mills brand) and it states categorically that it contains only wholegrain rye flour. If it had wheat it would be required to say so.

It shouldn't but every brand is different. You might try your health food stores. They have the purest products as a rule. Every item that goes into the bread should be listed on every label. Why not make your own bread? It isn't hard and recipes are all over the internet. Good luck.

I'm not sure, but buckwheat flour is similar, and despite its name has no wheat or gluten in it. The packaging should tell you what it contains. Ask in Sainsbury's, they are really helpful LOL :)
