I'm pretty sure they do. Fleas prefer dog and cat hosts, but in the absence of a preferred host will use humans or other available animals as a host. Pet owners may not be bothered by fleas until their pet is away for an extended period of time and the fleas, in the absence of their normal host, begin to bite the owners. Bites frequently occur around the waist, ankles, armpits, and in the bend of the elbows and knees.

Fleas do bite humans, but it usually is not noticed unless one is allergic. In addition, fleas do not meander around human skin because it is not covered in fur; therefore, they jump on bite and jump off to bury in carpet, grass, or an animal fur. The reaction we notice from most dogs is that of an allergic reaction to the flea dust and not the bite.

Fleas DO bite humans. They feed on blood and don't much care where it came from. Children are most susceptible to flea bites as their skin is very tender.

Fleas do bite humans. I speak from experience. They just prefer dogs because they are sheltared by their fur. Typically they only bite humans on the feet and legs because are feet are usually on the floor and fleas are triggered by vibrations of us moving.

Cats and dogs have a different body temperature to ours.
Often fleas will give you a bite, but they will realize you're the wrong animal, and hop off to find a dog or cat.

Fleas often bite humans when other food sources aren't available, but they do not thrive on human blood. Their bite leaves a red, itchy spot on the skin.

A flea bite gained't regularly harm at the same time as the fairly bite takes position, in spite of the indisputable fact that, in a while it really is going to sense like a mosquito bite (between the better painful truly than itchy ones) It gained't extremely itch, better harm (sorry, its authentic) it really is compared to lice and they gained't stay for lengthy, it really is reminiscent of the different insect, bite and go away. wish this helps!
