Yes you definitely can overdose on any said vitamins. All pills have a recommended daily dosage and if you exceed that daily dosage they can become toxic. It even goes by age and your weight. So if it says to take 2 a day-then only take 2 a day.Vitamin overdoses have often landed people in the emergency room and the results can be devastating. So please just follow the instructions and all will be fine.Hope this helps.Have a great day.

Vitamin A is the great offender in over dosages. A few years ago, it became a medical problem because mothers were interested in providing quality care for their children and overdosed them. This resulted in a condition called hypervitaminosis. Vitamin A is concentrated in the liver of some animals such as a polar bear....and people eating it would die....Vitamin D is also toxic but not as much of a worry as we seldom exceed the normal amounts needed in daily life. Whatever vitamin complex you take, follow the suggested dosage.

Absolutely! Many water soluble vitamins are passed harmlessly through the urine. Several vitamins, however, are not. Some with dire consequences. Although Vitamin B is water soluble, in large doses it can cause nervous system damage. Vitamin A (found in things like liver) can cause horrible damage to connective tissue. Reader's Digest had a story about two men lost in the Artic (or someplace similar) who ate mostly liver (unfortunately, from their dogs) thinking it was the most nutritous part of the animal. The problem was, once their levels of Vitamin A became toxic, parts of them started falling off (their ears, the end of their noses, the soles and heels of their feet). Granted, that was a VERY extreme case, but you see what I mean. Everything in moderation. If you have a good diet, you most likely don't need vitamins unless your doctor says so. Either way, go to your doctor before dosing yourself with too many vitamins or ask your pharmacist. Good luck!

Oh yes. NEVER take more then what it says on the label. Vitamin supplements add to what you already eat. A friend of mine actually took 5 pills in one day. He collapsed and needed to be taken to hospital. He narrowly escaped with his life! He then had to spend another 2 months in rehabilitation.

Too much vitamin gets into your body and can be harmful but that's only if you do it over a long period of time. If you do it for less than 2 months it should be o.k

Yes there is a such thing as overdosing on vitamins because there is a such thing as having too many vitamins in the body, as a matter of fact that causes heart disease.
In your case as far as short termly taking the pills probably wont hurt that much but as far as on a long term span it wouldn't be wise, I wouldn't take the risk!

One can get very ill indeed on suppliments, it is written about all the time in the papers, men and women's journals and on TV. You can damage your liver too, you only have one of those so take care of it.
You may want to figure out why you feel that you need to overdo what ever regiment you are on and what course you are following in your health plan. Just a thought to indulge. Good luck, Suzanne

Yes it's possible to get very sick from too many vitamins. For example too much iron (in many vitamins) will make you very sick... you can OD on it.

I have no idea what's in Mega Men Sport though.

There are some vitamins that are flat-out poisonous if you overdose on them. That is one reason I don't really like vitamin pills that give 4000 and 5000 % RDA of certain vitamins.

You can...

If you actually like kidney failure, Gall Stones, Kidney stones, glandular problems, eyesight problems, confusion, and some long term effects that could cause irreversible damage to your organs over long periods of time.

Why? Are you trying to off someone naturally? If you are, it takes way too long!
