as smoking pot speeds up your matabalisom I am coNcernd if i stop smoking pot and eat the same 3 meals a day as i do allready will i get fat as my matabalisom will be much slower

You should not be smoking pot in the first place......So its ur own fault. but you will not get fat. They say that eating breakfast in the mornings gets ur metabolism going so if u eat breakfast everyday it will higher ur metabolism (your breakfast should consist of like, a banana, cereal, orange juice, and a muffin) Its healthy and will help u loose weight.

you can buy supplements with chromium picolonate from your health food store that would speed up your metabolism. And, why do you think you need 3 meals a day? Metabolism slow down comes with age (like age 55) If you want to stay thin then walk, exercise, and pull yourself away from the computer and play a few sports and have fun. Pot, at least here and many other states is still illegal. Even caffeine speeds up metabolism, tea too.

no you won't get fat, if you consume 2500 calories per day and only burn 2000 then you will put on weight, if consume less calories than you burn then you will lose weight and if you consume the same amount of calories than what you burn you will stay the same.
try to exercise and you will have no problem giving up the pot.
One tip that works well is when you get an urge for a spliff guzzle down a pint of cool water, this will wake you up and take away some of the craving.

Only if you start eating loads of junk. You might feel a little more inclined to do something a little more active than just zoning out in front of the playstation or pc, and a little exercise wouldn't hurt your weight either. Good Luck. Drugs are evil!!!!!!

Why Stop? Reality sucks lol
Although i must admit since i stoped smoking it (not by choice, NE England is basicly dry) if put a bit more weight on - thats personal experiance though, might be diffrent for others

the mind boggles, you don't mind filling you body with chemicals, bur your worried about putting on a little weight if you stop smoking pot, get your priority's in order, stop smoking pot and eat healthy meals... Pot slows your metabolism down, Food get your metabolism going........ :-)

It may do, but surely putting on a lil weight is better than the damage your doing ot your body at the mo. If your really concerned about your weight then try snacking on healthy things between meals and exercise regularly.

yes, you will. i stopped smoking last new year, i still eat the same. i have put over 2 stone on. and everyone i know that has stopped smoking has turned into a fat bastard, oh well. at least a heart attack is quicker than cancer.

Putting on weight in any situation is a matter of choice in terms of diet, you sound like you know what is good and bad for you so I really doubt you will have a problem. Just remember, weight management is not just a matter of diet but also one of excersise!
