i bought a canon 3 in one ( printer scanner copier) PIXMA MP150 two weeks ago. then when i came home the scanner just wont work even though all the drivers were installed. the printer and the copier work fine. but not the scanner. it keeps giving me this error message "code 155,0,0" anytime i try to scan anything...."Cant Exteblish connection with scanner. it's either switch off or the cable is removed"
i followed all the instructions in the users guide that came with it. so i dont know what else can be wrong. help please.

Hmmm, sounds like the Scanner driver and\or the software for scanning is glitched. I'd suggest UNinstalling, then shutdown, then restart computer and REinstall the scanner driver\software.

BTW, you DO KNOW you HAVE to have the computer ON for scanning, right?

Anyway, here's a link to Canon's Step-by-Step troubleshooting for your MP150, it's near the bottom........

You must unistall the drivers if you did install them. You can do this by
right clicking on the properties of My Computer
click on the Device Manager Tab
delete the drivers for this all in one canon printer
restart computer
install the drivers but put the disk in first and when it ask you to plug in your printer (by usb probably) follow its request

It sounds to me that you've done all the right things...next step would be to e-mail Canon's website with that particular error message and see what they have to say about it. It might be something simple, like reinstalling the driver or whatnot. Good luck.
