Columbus is the one who sailed around the world and discovered that the world was not flat. Don't you remember the Nina, Pinta, and the Santa Maria? I thought they taught this in all the schools. Oh well, enjoy your day off.

I am not because it's just another work day for me. However, it is important to realize what Columbus did and how what he did shaped the country we live in.

It's definitely anti-climactic for me. I have to work, and because I'm in the route delivery business, it means that there will be customers at banks and post offices who are closed and I'll have to make special arrangements for them. Darn people and their plethora of holidays!
