i cant remove roxio photo5 from control panel w/out knowing what program created it. i have win. xp did softwa

re come with it? could it be sonic or do i have to reinstall some program?

As photo5 is a software for viewing pictures, it was probably installed with a digital camera, a printer, a sacnner or as part of a picture CD. Normally it should have added it's own section in the Add and Remove Program in the control panel.

If it is not under Add and Remove program, try going to the start menu > all programs and see if there is a listing for the program there. If so, it may have an "uninstall" option as part of the menu.

Try going into the directory where the program is installed and see if they have either a file called "unistall" or a file called "unwise". Running either of those files will uninstall the program.
