I've installed a program several times, but everytime I restart, it's as if I never installed the program.

Is your account set up as an administrator or a limited user? You probably have to be an administrator acccoun to fully install the program.

(Would also help if posted WHAT program - might be something unique to that software)

Ok. Thats like saying "my computer's broke". What is the program and did you do a search for the .exe file in Windows Explorer? Did you get an error on installation? Were you able to run it after installation and before you turned off the computer? Maybe your computer's broke!
