Your under 25, alot of companies are based on experience, you also have a new car and I'm assuming your carrying full coverage? If this assuption is correct then 1500 is not that bad, if its for the year. Most companies use something like compuquote, search the web and find a company and do an online quote.

One way to compare rates for a Dodge Caliber is to check with some of the leading quote providers online.
You could sit down with your auto insurance policy in front of you, so you know exactly what coverages you have, and compare quotes.
InsureMe is an online auto insurance quote provider (Since 1993) and they have helped millions of consumers shop for insurance.
They give you up to five free quotes from top-rated auto insurers nationwide - http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=613596&Type=auto
Also, you could ask about any discounts that may be available to you for good student, good driver, driver safety courses, anti-theft devices, etc.
I hope that helps.
