Ok.. this worked for me.
MAKE SHORT TERM GOALS!! Do not say you want to lose 30 lbs, say you want to lose 5 lbs in the next two weeks. Start our small. If you are working out, remember that muscle weighs more than fat. you may gain, or may not lose anything, but feel how the clothes are fitting.
- DRINKING NOTHING BUT WATER!
- NO MORE FAST FOODS
- LOWER CARB INTAKE, NOT ELIMINATE
- EXERCISE 2 times a week 2 hrs a day
- KEEP ACTIVE, take stair, park farther
- GET ENOUGH REST at least 8 hrs.
- A Fat burner helped me at that time it was stacker 3(they are addictive), I was not sweating when i worked out, so the pills helped.
- TELL PEOPLE about your progress, and what you are doing, this will keep you motivated to keep going.
- DONT WEIGH your self everyday, once a week is good enough to track, you should be losing about 1-2 lbs a week.
I hope this helps, i lost 35 lbs in approx 6 months.

While what you are doing is great, the best way to lose the weight and keep it off is to change your habits. Pre-pack foods to take with you each day so you will not be tempted and try to eat 6 smaller meals throughout the day instead of 3 big ones. This will keep you feeling fuller for longer and less likely to overeat. The key to it all is regular exercise. If you cannot afford a gym membership, just get out and walk in the part or get a group of friends together to motivate each other. You can start a fitness group at work and help each other! Go to a dietitian and they will explain the simple things you need to get you started. Remember this needs to be a lifestyle change not a diet as diets are only quick fixes and if you go back to your old habits the weight will come back. But most of all, stay positive!!!

Exercise is the main thing. Its not just about what you eat, you will also need to increase you energy expenditure. Regular exercise is one of the best ways of losing weight, but do something you will enjoy doing (you are more likely to stick at it, and it wont be a ture for you to do). Also ignore ALL fad diets and diet pills, they are complete shash and really won't help you to achieve anything. The only healthy way to lose weight will take time, so forget anything that promises to lose it quickly (you either wont lose anything at all or you may risk damaging your body and put your health at risk). Don't just focus on your carbs (despite what some people believe they are not the enemy!), you need to focus on your whole diet. If you can get a copy of the food pyramid and base your diet around that. It may sound cheesey but a balanced is what you need. You say you are eating half of what you used to, but be careful not to cut back too much. If the body isnt being fed enough it may 'think' there is a 'famine' and will actually retain fat rather than use it. Losing weight can be difficult to do but if it is what you really want then stick with it, but only if it makes you happy.

Loosing weight can take time, what some people don't realise is that a lot of foods that are deemed healthy are actually loaded with calories which will make you fat, like almost all of the food you find in Holland and Barret. Portion control is important but my advise is to count your calories, if you eat half a hamburger that is worse than eating a kilo of vegetables. If you cut it down to 800 a day you are bound to succeed.
You'd be surprised how far this will take you, for example in a whole bag of bokchoy there is only 12 calories vs a bowl of rice which is roughly 100. Its not about going hungry but make sure that when you eat you never feel too overly full which is what a lot of over eaters have a habit of doing. But let it be known, this doesn't mean being stuck with veges and fruit only, if you want a burger then you can have it, but count it into your 800 a day.
Remember to also start the day with two cups of hot water with lemon to get your system going.

Honey you can eat better and it will do nothing if you dont excersise. Your best bet will be to start a cardio workout that will enable you to lose weight the most important thing you can remember is that weight lose is all about how much you want it. No giving into peer pressure and your own pressure!!!! Also the more you eat the more fat you burn, its true eat five small portions a day so that you metabolism continues to work. For example eat just enough to keep you full DO NOT over eat, continuos intake after your body has told you it was ful is a certain cause of weight gain. Anymore questions just email me

Hi,
I understand what your going through. Happens to the best of us. Anyways, I too have tried a million different ways to lose and didnt have much luck with any. Last week I started the Fat Smash diet which is whats on Celebrity fit club. Its just a plan of getting used to a healthier menu. I lost 5 lbs in the first 9 days and inches. I feel good and am determined to lose 25 more lbs.
There is a book that explains the whole process, but thats up to you to even try.
Basically, you need to work out hard and burn more calories than you intake a day. www.fitday.com is a good way to track your caloreis in a day. I do kickboxing (mauy tai) which is a killer cardio workout as well as good body toning.
good luck!

I am having the same problem also. However, what has been working for me is going Weight Watchers. Depending on your weight is how many calories you need to have per day. At weight watchers you are able to watch your calorie intake by counting points. The less points you use the more points you can have for a little sweet snack. Nonetheless, exercising will help the weight shed faster. Each week I did l shed some weight. Don't get discouraged because you feel like you have to go to every meeting because you don't have to. Believe me you will see results. Good Luck

One of the things I didn't see mentioned was exercise or activity level.
Another thing that I notice is that you said that you have started cutting back on food intake.
My 3 suggestions:
1. Increase your exercise or activity level.
2. Consider adding some protein to help burn the fat.
3. Add some vitamin B's and C to help with your energy level.
I've lost 32.5 pounds since July, 2006. I had tried other things before like you have. What I have been using now to help me do the three things I suggested is Stack Body Tune Up.
There is also a psychology to losing weight that is too long to post on this answer board. I would gladly share it with you.
If I can be of further assistance, let me know.

You can burn a pound off per week (three,500 energy) by way of burning off most effective 500 energy an afternoon. If that's an excessive amount of for then you definately reduce that right down to burning off 250 energy an afternoon, however it is going to take you two times as lengthy to peer the outcome Make certain your consuming healthful, I would not inform you to nutrition however simply consume healthful. Eat as much as a million,2 hundred energy an afternoon, you'll be able to down load MyFitnessPal and write each unmarried factor you've ate and it counts the energy you've ate. Also perform a little force coaching similar to pilates. pilates will support you to tone up with out bulking in any respect and the extra muscle mass you've the quicker your metabolism cost might be :)

Drink one half your weight in ounces. Like if you weigh 100 pounds drink 50 ounces of water a day at least. Walk....even if just a little to start with. You have to get moving for your metabalism to speed up. Otherwise your body will try to stay the weight it is because it thinks you are starving it when you don't eat as much. Make sure you are your bowels are moving well. They should at least once a day. If not, your body does not get rid of toxins and does not lose weight as well. Good luck....you CAN do it!!
