The believer passes from this life to the next without feeling the sting of death and the grave cannot hold his soul:
1 Corinthians 15:53-57, "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

God's law in the Old Testament required animal sacrifices, the spilling of blood, for cleansing of the Israelites' sins. When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they became mortal. Sin and death are now a part of the human race.
Jesus was sent to earth to become the eternal sacrificial lamb. He lived a sinless life as a human. If you've seen The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, that was a picture of what happened. Jesus (Aslan) offered himself to the devil (Witch) in place of us (Edmund) who had broken the law. By taking our place, He conquered sin for all eternity, God allowed all our sin, that caused us to deserve death, to be put on Jesus. Jesus payed our penalty.
Then, 3 days later, after Satan thought He'd won by killing God's son.... Jesus rose from the dead on His own. That conquered death. Now, as His followers, we are promised eternal life. That doesn't mean life as we know it, it refers to the afterlife. Our spirit never dies, just the body. I mean, who wants to keep this decaying old body forever? :) In that place we get new heavenly bodies.

Well if you're looking for actually chemistry then don't hold your breath. There is a definite difference between what is spiritual and what is physical.
You have to look at his death in the terms of how it fulfilled old testement law. In the old testement, people sacrificed their best and most perfect cattle for God to forgive their sins. By commanding the israelites to do this, He was setting the stage for the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He sacrificed His own son to fulfill His own law. That's how sin is forgiven if we just accept that He made that sacrifice for us.

The spirit that lived as Jesus Christ, didn't just make
a dramatic statement.
He used his power to open the doors to Spirit that were
slowly closing, due to the "dull" nature of human senses.
He was the "firstfruits" of those that "slept". Or were
confined to lower realities.
In Matthew, I believe, it says the minute Christ died, some saints already rose from the depths.
There will be many such awakenings, and finally, our
Creator will go into hell itself, and get those who failed
out.
READ THE BOOK.

By the shedding of His blood that covers all of our sins. God had man sacrifice a pure lamb for man's sins to be cleansed by that blood that is spilled from that lamb. Jesus was offered by His Father, God for His blood to cleans us of our sins.
Through Jesus blood and death, we no longer have to kill a pure lamb every year to cleans us of our sins, Now all we have to do is accpet Jesus as our savior and invite Jesus into our heart and life, ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins. We must repent of our sins daily.
That is what the shedding of Jesus blood did for us. You must have faith in the blood of Jesus.
Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission

Through the Resurrection Jesus Conquered Sin
If Jesus has the key why would He leave anyone in hell forever and ever? Because of sin and because God is a righteous God.
When God originally created man he was without sin. It is called a state of innocence. And there in the Garden of Eden God would come and talk to Adam and Eve every evening and talk with them and teach them. But when Man sinned by disobeying the command of God his innocence was lost forever and through one man sin came into the world and the Bible says we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
God is a righteous and holy God and no sin can enter His heaven. Therefore all who sin must face the eternal punishment of death and hell.
However God is a merciful God. The Bible says His mercies are new every morning. He has given us our whole lives to accept His forgiveness and His gift of eternal life.
Jesus said in John 8:34 “Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.” But Jesus came to set you free from sin. John 8:36
Conclusion:
Jesus death is a symbol of the death we need to die to self. I must surrender all to Jesus Christ. He conquered death for me, He conquered hell for me, He conquered sin for me but I must give up my life, surrender all to Him and then I will have life more abundantly.
His burial is a symbol of our sins being buried in the sea of God’s forgetfulness never to be remembered against us ever again. Free from the guilt, free from the shame, free from the pain of the past.
His resurrection is a symbol of the new life we can now live through the power of Holy Spirit who will live in us when we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins. You don’t have to walk this road alone. There is a great cloud of witnesses who will help you and pray for you and Jesus will walk beside you all the way to help you life as He wants you to live.

because when us christians die, it's actually like being born because we come newly into heaven. his death was to show how powerful and loving the Lord can be. he could have died earlier, but he stayed on the cross for everyone. and if you accept that, you can accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior

Jesus" the christ" christ means the spiritual truth, taught principles to live by that if practiced make you feel okay about yourself - no guilt, caring about others, don't react to negativity, etc - His message was that we are already spiritual beings and just have to stay in line with metaphysical truths. he was an example of practicing love above all.
As in all organizations, when people add in their belief systems and personal issues(Paul) they message gets corrupted.
2000 yr old cryptic phraseology can be interpreted many ways by uneducated people

It is all about faith and believing in a God who became flesh to be the perfect lamb that was sacrificed for our sin and the sin of anyone who will accept him. You will never be able to prove it through chemistry. Its pure faith.
