He likes looking forward to doing different things and going different places...Where can we go that's fun but doesn't cost so much? We live at a beach and summer is over so our weekends aren't spent at the beach anymore. We may go to a football game this month, but what else can we do to get away and make him look forward to fun things???

This time of the year there are a lot of Fall festivals to go to, craft shows, etc. Ask your local librarian for ideas of what's happening in your area. Since it's around Halloween, some historic towns host ghost house tours, etc. You can still spend a nice weekend at the beach in the Fall, too. Usually there are activities to do around the beach towns too. How about going hiking somewhere and bringing a long a picnic?

Any local orchards near you? Apples are in - go pick your own! it's a nice drive & the fruit is awesome - the views on the way will be good too. Take a picnic & make a day of it.
Also, see if your area has a "day trips" section - I live in Richmond VA & there's tons of stuff to do within a couple of hours either way - mountains one side, beach the other way. Museums to explore, now that its' Fall, there's usually tons of festivals, craft shows, exhibitions goin on - even State Fairs!
Check out the local newspaper for what's going on - & then just go!! Have fun!!

Thats totally how I am. My boyfriend and I are always broke so I try to find fun cheap things we can do besides going to the bar. A week ago we went to rent bikes and go trail riding. I like hiking, especially long ones.
*hiking
*camping...before it gets too cold.
*indoor or outdoor rock climbing

Oh, we just went roller skating...after not doing it since we were kids...it was an adventure.

Drive up north to the countryside...beautiful at this time of year..dont plan anything..just be spontaneous..that's what keeps a relationship going strong..pack overnight bags and see where the open roads take you...find a cheap motel or B and B and enjoy the new surroundings.

lets think here
why dont you and your boyfriend go travel for a weekend
take a little time to get away from the lonley beach and its even lonlier atmosphere.
Since he is adventurous
you should try rock climbing or sky diving or anything funn like that
try visiting new places that you have never gone before

What about getting those insulated scuba cold-water outfits and going scuba diving off that beach?

On a lower key note, you could go apple picking. he can try for the big ones that are high up on the tree and you both end with fixings for apple desserts.

Heck in New England we like to go to another state (from MA to NH) and watch the turning of the leaves. Go bike riding, a big museum that you'd both enjoy, hiking....so on

I live in pa and during the fall season there are lots of corn mazes and pumpkin patches which are alot of fun. Also there are a lot of haunted houses and haunted hayrides that you could look into.

For your sake, I hope his parasympathetic nervous system kicks in and he stops needing to have a rush all the time. Cuz once everything gets boring and normal he will probably leave. I know guys like that, that always have to be doing something new. Good luck
