Heresyhun - Why are you forgetting to mention what God said about the 'signs' of the end of times. And I think some took this ?? to be personal to me. It's actually a ?? to listen to others thoughts on the subject. No man will know the hour or day, but there will be signs as a warning to ALL. I don't think He wanted us to ignore that. DO YOU?

To ALL - Don't you think that God wants you to cleanse yourself of sin, to come to the Lord, to reject evil. Well then why do you think He gave us signs, He told us what the world would look like as a final warning to repent. And don't you think that if this is near the 'time' that should provoke some urgency in our lives?

I find it very exciting when I pick up a paper, or turn on the TV and hear or read that things the Bible predicted would happen is happening or have already happened. We are closer today than yesterday, as someone has already pointed out. But I won't try to say just how close we are to the imminent return of Jesus. There is just simply no way, I or anyone else could possibly know the mind of God on this issue. He does say in His word no man knows the hour or the day.

Just be ready! You don't want to be the Bride who has her hair in rollers when her Bridegroom comes to take her away, now do you?

How can we "be ready" for His return?

Just keep your eyes on Jesus who is the WORD! Read your Bible through and through and don't just sit and let others "tell you about it." In this you may be easily led astray by wolves in sheep's clothing. Study and show YOURSELF approved!

Spend time with The Word yourself and in so doing, you will keep your oil lamp full! It doesn't matter *when Jesus is coming, what matters is that we are ready 24/7 for when He does.

He doesn't want the emphasis to be on *When, but instead to *Just Be Ready. THis is why he stressed that "no one knows the hour or the day".

Shame on anyone who tries to place a time-frame on His second coming, even in saying it will be "in our lifetime".

We simply do not KNOW, though there are indeed signs and birthpains that sound the heavenly alarm that the time is near. Just get those rollers out of your hair and be READY!

Oh Yes!

There are far too many things in Revelations that weren't even possible until the 20th century that have come to pass.

Also, St. Malachi's prophesies named every Pope by name with some characteristic about them and states there is only one Pope after this one who shall be named Peter Roman as the 1st and then the end times will come after that Pope is martyred when the middle east kills him and takes over Europe.

There are a lot of Muslims in Europe and the U.S. for that matter, that could easily turn against their adopted countries and undermine their national security.

YES!

Armies of light and darkness gather. Great atrocities occur. Famine and disease ravage the peoples of Earth. People have degenerated into conflicting tribes with fear and hatred being the only unifying factor.

So yes we are in or near 'End times'.

Those dying now in righteous conflict will be awaiting those of us who join those martyrs. A bright light/fire is all that remains to occur. And a sound louder than... well loud. Noclear or nuclear?

As the above applies to all religions to some extent forgive me.

I will forgive you wishing to know what is to be or what the time schedule of God will be. God plays her cards closer to the vest(breast?) than any Earthly politician. Last turn of the century
(and b4) the same concerns were present. And the predictions of end times... they were right AND we are closer now~!

Unless you chose to believe that this is 'limbo' or 'purgatory' or 'hades' already... kind of a rehab for lost souls... Last Chance Station... or merely a spiritual/celestial Disney World.

You might look up Robert A. Heinlein and his books- especially "Job: A Comedy of Justice" for interesting observations...

Yip I sure do, u need only turn on the news in the evening to see how biblical prohesy is fulfilling before our very eyes. The antichrist (the pope) is almost in full power, all nations are coming together in a new world order, believing that this would bring peach.

The bible tells us that at the end all nations will be shouting for peace, but it shall not come, but soon He will.

Sorry, gotta throw my 2¢ in here. They've been teaching the whole "End Times" story for some 200+ years.

It's like trying to guess when the Sun will expand and consume the Earth, if it happens it won't really matter who guess right.

yes i do believe that we are very near the end times. i believe that they may very well come with in my life time God has told me the time is near and that it is coming sooner than we think. Jesus is coming soon to claim his bride but there are many yet who still need to hear the good news of jesus and many who do not yet believe. we need to pray and listen to and obey God even more not thank you Father God for the many faithful you have wake up the sleeping church to shine for you before it is too late and i thank you for the start of this awaking that i have seen i aks that you would help us to ovecome our fears and to trust you with our lives and that many would come to you as a result. Amen.

those of you who know Jesus i urge you to listen to his voice now as never before because we have not long left. pray for the slvation of all those around you for your towns schools workplaces etc. pray in groups and on your own live a life of love that pleases God and don't give up what ever happens God is with you don't be afraid to speak the words he gives you and pray for me and other believers that they and i would do the same.

Yes, we are living in the end times. Just about all the signs are here. Everyone is saying peace, peace but, there is none. We are awaiting the abomination of which is spoken and the anti-Christ which I think is here just waiting to be revealed.

Christ said when we see what we're seeing now, that is
just the "Beginning of Sorrows."
The Earth will undergo a massive geological upheaval.
Isaiah 24, and it will open the doors to other realities.
Verse 18 KJV.
At some point God will come and put a stop to it
There is nothing to fear, but fear itself.
