Does the Qu'ran or Hadiths say anything in relation to tattoos apart from them being forbidden?

when someone convert or repent. God take his bad points, and make it good points.

[70] Except those who repent and believe (in Islâmic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds; for those, Allâh will change their sins into good deeds, and Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

about tattos, i am not sure, God knows best.

You know just the other day I was poking around this personals website and CURIOSITY said, "Check out the Muslim women." I found that about half of these women had "tattoos in discreet places" I can only wonder.

if u can remove the tatto then fine,u know nowadays people can do that easily,so the normal excuse of i couldnt remove it doesnt work anymore.

if you can have it removed and still fulfill all your other fianancial obligations then thats what you should do. i dont think that if you sincerly convert that you will still be punished for getting it tho.
