Are these people really so stupid that they dont know that for the most part they are typos? Come on not everyone spends all day on their computer and is an expert typist people. Get a grip people!

some people have to pick on other peoples shortcomings so they can feel better about themselves...feel sorry for them
others are just too smart for their own good and they think they are helping you by pointing out your errors... their intentions are good- just grin and bear them
some people are compulsive and cannot resist pointing out every mistake you make... these are crazy, ignore them if you can't get away from them!
then there are those like me.......sometimes typos/mispellings are soooo funny, they should be shared with everyone! we are harmless... just laugh with us!
example: loser is a commonly misspelled word- but to me, looser looks vulgar!!!

I agree that anyone who spends any time on a forum such as Yahoo! answers needs to develop a high tolerance for bad spelling.
At the same time, however, I think failing to even TRY to use correct spelling is lazy and hurts everyone involved -- it makes the writer look stupid and careless and it makes the reader work much harder to read (and understand) the question.
I'd also like to point out that Yahoo! offers an easy "Check Spelling" function just above the answer box. Take the extra 30-60 seconds to use it, and we all win.

How do you know there typos? I think half the people on here aren't capable of proper spelling and punctuation, and the other half don't know how to check their spelling. Get over it.
