Here we go….seat down and relax cause this going to take a long time…I went to Africa for the first time (I was born there but lived in Europe almost all my life-since I was 4-I am now 32). What I notice in Africa is that they have all the things necessary to make their own living the only thing they need is FINANCIAL HELP. There is kids there….(yes kids because that is the area that I want to concentrate on).. that have the wheel power to study and be a future Engineer or Doctor but they simple cant because they do not have teachers to teach- the government does not pay the workers so how can they teach or do other works related with Education. In Medical area that is another disaster you can see people dying after your eyes just because of 5000 franc cefa which is no more than 6 pounds sterling UK money. * I know is very sad* but is the truth! The question I am trying to formulate is …there is any charity out there that is willing to help? Anywhere that someone knows that I could approach for this case because since I came from Africa I think I am failing those kids. I know I cannot change the world but if we could help each other maybe we will be living in a better World? What you guys think?

The problem with Africa is there is plenty of money being sent out but the majority of the funds is being swallowed by the greedy bureaucrats Mugabe was a good example and idi amin another rather than send money send tools seeds and sort irrigation out and let them have a life of working for their meals rather than wait for the relief and definitely stop having children that's counter productive with the aids epidemic that's rife in their country. ho for the dogooders before you start raving tell me when keep sending money has helped over the long haul never so tools and seeds and irrigation will help rather than fill corrupt politicians fat bank accounts.

We have Oxfam which is a charity for the children of Africa and other countries, people get put of giving to charities because most of the money goes on administration fees and into the pockets of the less deserving, if you are in the Uk join a charity shop and find out for yourself how much of donated money is actually wasted. Our country seems to spend more and more money to other countries than it does for it's own country, there are lots of people needing help and can't get it.

A lot of charities work in Africa, unfortunately a lot of African governments confiscate any aid sent there.

Just do what you can, give what you can afford, maybe sponsor a couple of children and then you know that at least those ones will get an education etc.

there are a variety of of many charities available. One concern that develop into encountered with alot of the international locations is the authorities is taking the nutrition and elements and using them. some thing of the individuals bypass over out. even with the indisputable fact that peace corp and different such charities have discovered a fashion to bypass stright to the places that favor the help fairly of dealing with the authorities. commence a charity your self yet be particular you're attentive to authorities regulations on your united states and the country(ies) you attempt to assist.

Ask Bono, Geldof, or Sting to feed your starving Africans. They make their money selling records, which they promote by turning up at all these disasters, famines, etc.One of those philanthropic millionaires oughta be able to spare a few million, after all.

Bye bye!

Who told Sally Struthers how to sign up for Yahoo! Answers??? The way I see it... big fish handle big tasks, little fish just spawn and go up stream to die or however fish do it--in other words if you're not a superpower (if they're still called that) or Bono than keep your blinders on and focus on your own life rather than all the flies hovering around some ethiopian kid. Was that too straight forward? I'm sorry all feedback can be directed to 1-800-IMPEACHBUSH.

Very encouraging you wanting to help out the country of your birth, but I'm afraid it's the government of these countries who can waste donated cash from richer countries. Change the mind-set of these governments and you may be have a start.

The snag is there seems to be plenty money for helicopter gunships and bullets THATS WHAT YOU NEED TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER,stop the tribal slaughter and the rest will follow.I admire your idea but its the people at the top and leaders you need to change.Darfor has plenty of food to go in but cant get it there because of the fighting,Even the RED CROSS cant get in till the fighting stops believe me I share your frustration.GOOD LUCK GOD BLESS.
