You don't even say if flying is OK, which airports you're near or how long you could be away!

Try Thailand...I heard they have tanks all over the place so that people can take pictures with them. And the Baht (Thai currency) is so low now that for the same value of money, you may be able to buy 5 items versus 3 months ago when you can only 2.5 to 3 items for the same amount spent.
Its really a value for money place for a family as big as yours.
