If you try without being at least a little obvious, how will he ever get the signal. You have to be a little more straight forward than that, or he will never get it. Guys don't see things like that, sometimes it has to hit them straight dab in the face before they will catch on.....
The only little things I know that maybe they will catch on to (maybe) is a wink or two, and a smile, but like I said, sometimes that don't even work! Good luck, take care, and have a nice day!

Guys are simple, being subtle does not always work with us. Be obvious that is the only way you can make sure that he is picking it up.

Why not just come out with it? The world would be far less complicated if everyone were just simply to say what the mean/feel instead of hints and innuendo all the time.
