Wonder no further! I'm a gay man and do not get an erection when I see a really hot girl; nor do I get an erection when I see a really hot guy. As an adult, it takes more than just visual stimulus to give me an erection. I do appreciate hot girls and guys without the aid of an erection though.

Because we're not attracted to girls. Why do people date skinny girls when their are alot of overweight chicks ? Why do some guys date black girls when their are alot of white women ? It's all matter of sexual preference, attraction and what turns a person on. Think of it like this, their are some foods you like and some foods that you don't. You can't control what you're taste buds find tasty right. I mean, I hate peanut butter( can't stand the smell or taste) , even tho lots of people like it. And I can force myself to eat it, but I'm never gonna enjoy the taste like I would eating shrimp of food that I do enjoy. And this is the same thing with attractions and gay/straight/bi people. I can't control what you like. And nobody turns gays, I never woke up one day and said "Hmmm, you know what. It would be soo fun to be gay in a society that condemns and treats homosexuals inequality. And the idea of not only having my parents, family, friends, and random strangers judging me and using the bible to bash me for my sexuality sounds even funnier and way my interesting then dating girls. So I think I'm gonna be gay today." I mean, you gotta be an idiot to think people actually decided to be gay.

No they don't they don't feel anything. Switch it around if you seen a good looking guy would you get a erection probably not gay guys view women how straight guys view women.

First, you have to get over the idea of absolute categories of sexuality. Different people have different tastes - some men like big butts, some like small butts. Some lesbians like butch women, some like feminine women. Some gay men like young, lean, hairless men, others like big, masculine hairy guys. Sexuality is not a binary system, and this applies to EVERY aspect of it. Thus we shouldn't think of people as "gay" or "straight" absolutely - it's perfectly possible for you to be turned on by women, but still find men way more attractive. So, to answer your question: yes, some gay men are turned on by hot women. Others are absolutely not. Just like some "straight" men are turned on by hot men. The problem comes when we try to straitjacket our (quite diverse) sexualities into simple binary categories, like "gay" or "straight" and pretend "If I'm not straight, I'm 100% gay". This is dumb.

I doubt they'd get an erection. They might appreciate her beauty, and say so, but anything beyond that, no. The attraction isn't there. And, if it is, he should probably label himself bisexual, rather than gay.

Ive been gay for the last 8 years, and no not really. i still think some woman's body's are beautiful and very sexy (depends on witch side of weight watchers their on) but I'm personally just not attracted to it.
its happened allot of times that some of my girlfriends wanted to know that q too, and they found out that with enough persistence they get me really standing on end. but it doesn't have allot to do with their body's, just the action and mindset behind it

Not being gay I guess I can't say with certainty, but I bet part of being gay is not being sexually attracted to any girl.
