Okay, if you are on a break because you are moving too fast - how do you keep someone from losing interest? Talk to them every couple of days? Do you think seeing them every weekend would be too much?

No, talking to them a couple times a week would do the trick, but I think EVERY weekend would be too much....maybe put a weeknight in there, and skip a weekend.

Taking a break can be both a good and bad thing. Good, in that when you do get the chance to talk and see each other it makes things fresh. Bad in that you have no idea what the other is doing in all that down time when you are not communicating. I have been through the "Let's cool off for a bit thing" and in the end it went bad. If things seem as they are moving fast, let it happen. If it is something that you both really really want, it will be awesome. If not, then enjoy the time that you were together and hopefully that you made a friend that if you need someday he will be there for you.

What is a break? This is just a cop out without trying to hurt the other persons feeling. I would move on and not be kept on a string!

in my experience a break is a big cop-out if ou know what i mean. when couples want a break it just means that they are being greedy with there time, soul, love, and affection. When i here we need time it just means i need to put you on the back burner to make room for something/someone more important.

Just because your on a break, doesnt mean you cant still be having sex. So go over and get some, and whenever you know you are going to be around eachother, look sexy as hell. Good luck

Just be his friend. Don't worry about anything else. If you stress about anything too much it will just make it worse.
