Your question doesn't give us enough to answer you.
1. Where is "popcorn.net"? Is it the default page for your browser? If so, which browser??
2. If you're running IE6, get Firefox. IT is better at avoiding such hacks (if it is a hack).
3. Download, install and updated Spybot and AdAdware. Restart in SAFE MODE (F8 when you boot) and then run both of them. That will clean off your spyware. Don't forget to immunize in SpyBot.
4. You might consider a better Antivirus program that also guards against spyare. I use PC Cillian from Trend Micro for home computers (basic install).

Right click your Start button (lower left of desktop) and choose Search.
Then enter the file you want to find. (It will have a Cookie hidden in your PC somewhere.)
Right click it and choose delete

Spybot is one - you could also try Adaware, XCleaner and Trendmicro/Housecall.........(All free spyware/adware/malware programs). I've found that the more cleaners, the better, because one may not remove the same junk as another one.
Spybot: http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html
Adaware: http://www.lavasoft.de/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php
XCleaner: http://www.xblock.com/download-freeware.php
XCleaner's Online Scan: http://www.xblock.com/onlinescan.php
Trendmicro/Housecall (Online virus and spyware scan): http://www.trendmicro.com/hc_intro/default.asp
AVG is a free virus real-time program: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5#avg-free
