What would it mean if a girl said she didnt trust herself enough to be with you, but she tries to date you?

A while back I found myself talking to a girl I liked for some time in high school and we had an on and off relationship. We would date, then we would break up, and so on. One day she told me the reason why she broke up with me. She said it was because I was too nice for her. Later on down the road when I transfer schools she comes along and tells me she misses seeing me and she misses me. She invited me to come to the football game with her. I'm on the impression that she didnt like me then why would she like me now, but people could have a change of heart. What do you think?

She is a nut-case.

Be ware of 'nice guy'. It is not good. Nice guy means you are not a challenge for her and she doesn't feel you are Man enough for her. But since you are nice she likes being around you, but can't see you as her providor/protector/hero.
She can't trust herself because she does like you but knows she will eventually break it off with you.
