The average slice of wheat bread has about 70 calories. So two slices of bread add up 140 calories.
Margarine and butter are both about 100 calories per tablespoon. If you put use tablespoon of margarine per slice, that's another 200 calories. If you divide one tablespoon between two slices, that's 100 calories.
Smucker's strawberry jelly has 50 calories per tablespoon. If you put one tablespoon of jelly on each slice, that's another 100 calories.
That totals up to 340 or 440 calories for the whole sandwich, depending upon whether you use one or two tablespoons of margarine.
(And naturally, if you use more of the ingredients than listed above, add more calories...)

Each slice of bread: 100-120 calories = 200 calories
Vegetable Butter: 33 calories/ tsp = 100 calories (1 tbsp)
Strawberry jelly: 25 calories/ tsp = 75 calories (1 tbsp)
I would say you have about a 350-400 calorie sandwich!

I tablespoon strawberry jelly - 50 calories
I slice whole wheat bread - 69.74 calories
I am not sure what vegetable butter is, so without it the sandwich is 189.48 calories.

There's no such thing as vegetable butter. LOL. If it's made from vegetables it's MARGARINE. Butter is made from milk, always.
That sounds like a 500 calories sandwich, BTW.
