Anyone have some good quotes or mottos relating to love or relationships? I'd appreciate it, I'm putting something together. And no, I'm not some stupid immature teenager.

Love is Simple
Love is Grand
Love is walking, talking, and holding hands.

Love is healing
Love is pain
Love is getting all wet in the pouring rain

Love has its good times, and
Love has its bad
Love can make you happy, and love can make you sad

Love is not taken with a grain of salt
Give love a try and learn from its fault

But whatever you do don't take love for granted
You'll be out in the cold and left emtpy handed

You know how some woman stay in a relationship with a guy even though he treats her badly, well these men use the following quote to justify the way they treat their woman.
" Treat her mean, keep her keen"
Other quotes are :
" Love hurts" , but we all know this for a fact.
"Nice guys sleep alone" meaning if you are too nice no woman wants you or they take advantage of you then leave you.

Here are a few...I hope this helps.

in words, I can share what I am feeling...in silence, I can feel what we are sharing.

You can hurt me by making others aware of my mistakes...you can help me by making me aware of my mistakes...your caring can inspire me to grow more aware because of my mistakes.

I'm not afraid of growing older...I'm exited about growing as I get older.

So often we stay together not for what we have, but for what we are afraid of losing...if we'd appreciate what we have, it would only be our fears that we'd be losing.

Our Love depends on openness to caring, & our carefulness in being open...the depth of the love we share depends on our equal openess to care.

Love is in our Hearts, and can be expressed thru our heads...our Fears, develope in our heads, and prevent us from being from being close to our Hearts.

If you would "Just Try" to understand why I am leaving you...I'd probably end up not leaving you.

Take Care.

(having to move on)

The wild and windy night, that the rain washed away, has left a pool of tears, crying for the day.

or

Whatever happened to the life that we once knew
Can we really live without each other.
Where did we lose the touch
That seemed to mean so much.

How do you say, it’s time for me to go.

How do I tell you, what l really have to say,
when I promised to love you for the rest of your days.

I know it will hurt and,
you may never forgive me.

For telling you it’s time for me to go,
but l want to thank you, for loving me.

I will always cherish the memories,
and the love we tested and tried.

But I will never forget one summer day,
I looked at you and lied.

I didn’t want to tell you,
or see you hurt in anyway.

Because the love that l have for you,
didn’t want to see you cry that day.

I love you with all my heart,
and I wish you the very best.

But I hope someday I’ll see you again,
on clouds where we can continue our nest.

So forgive me my love,
for not telling you the answer.

I didn’t know how to tell you,
I’m dying of cancer.

sorry Lou B but i disagree completely with your saying. it is soooo not better to have loved than lost!!!!

my favourite two are..........
1) whats meant for you won't pass you by
2) if you love something set it free, if it comes back it's yours for life and if it doesn't it never was.

so true, both of them

"If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow."

Chinese proverb

IMO I believe that if you think before you act on what you perceived just happened you save yourself from further damaging your relationship.

It is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.

PS. This isn't my sentiment...........somebody far more poetic than me said it first (can't remember who).......I just thought it was a good answer in light of the question.
