SIMPLE ANSWER

Depending on % of alcohol, whiskey would not freeze in your freezer. Alcohol doesn't freeze in your freezer 'cuz it isn't cold enough. Alcohol's freezing point is -117 degrees and water's freezing point is 0 degrees.

SCIENTFIC ANSWER
A better answer is motion. A solid has very little motion of the
molecules. As the heat is raised, the amount of motion increases. Eventually, the motion is large enough for the transition to a liquid to occur. You would think that the size of the molecule would influence the freezing point temperature. And generally, it does. So why does alcohol, with a molecular wt of 46, freeze at a lower temperature than water, which has a
molecular wt of 18? Another factor comes into play. This factor is called hydrogen bonding. It causes an increased attraction between molecules which makes them harder to separate(or put into motion). This raises the freezing point.

Alcohol can freeze! It just depends on the proof. Must of your 80 proof types will not freeze in your normal freezer. Anything that's under like 50 proof will freeze after about 2 days or less. Check the proof (alcohol % is half of the proof) and see what it says before you store your potion in the freezer!

Pure alcohol's freezing point is -173.74 F. It's roughly linear based on its concentration with water which freezes at 32 F. At 40%, whiskey's freezing temperature would be around -82 F.
Your freezer doesn't/can't get that cold...that's why you can't freeze whiskey at home.

No it won't freeze because the freezing point of alcohol is much lower that that of water.

Alcohol won't freeze if it's flammable , if you can light it with a lighter then it has enough alcohol in it that it won't freeze. Whiskey won't freeze all the way through but it will cristallize and therefore expand which will cause the bottle to burst !
