These issues are a mix of political, social and religious factors.
But the main issue is that countries like Iran and Venezuela don't just threat, they do, most of what they do are stealth operations,
the US must consider deterrence against such countries' or the harassment will only grow and become more obvious, damaging and more popular among other US enemies.

1 Venezuelan President said Bush was Satan not Americans.
2 Iran's President said that Israel should be wiped out.
3 Although Iran is mostly Islamic, Venezuela is mostly Catholic.
4 Neither country said Israel was the little Satan only that Bush (Satan) was siding with them.
5 Nobody is going to wipe anybody off the map. It is a lot of talk to emphasize how much they don't like them. (haven't you ever said that you'd like to kill the b*stard or some such stupid comment)?
6 Stop watching those right wing TV news stations. Look up the facts, read the transcripts and understand that even presidents and rulers are human beings who put their foot in their mouths occasionally.

First of all Hugo Chavez is not "Islamic" as you put it. He's Catholic
Second, I think us americans have an extreme case of xenophobia and we need to find the roots of it.
And lastly I dont think someone wants to hurt america or americans just because they called the president a devil.

Man, cool off, if you haven't noticed, bush's foreign politics have made the US a much more real threat to oil countries than all talk of the devil will be to the US. And the fact that Israel set itself up by force and evicted traditional occupants with US backing in lands that were Arabic for the last 1500 years or so qualifies them as well.

I do not think so. I think that they mean that you all are bad, hence the reason for saying that you are the devil.
Lets face Bush has done some stuff to prove them right.
All islamic people are not terrorists. And it because of this thought that islamic groups are causing more chaos in the country because they feel that they need to make a point.
