The water will turn to solid ice and expand. The plastic bottle will crack open. Other than that. If you put the frozen water bottle in something and let it thaw the water is fine.

If freezing water in a bottle or container, do not fill all the way as when water freezes it expands and will crack the bottle/container.

Freezing bottled water won't make a difference at all. You might crack the container, but that would be all.

I'm not sure, you hear some much nowadays about plastic and the risks of freezing or microwaving it. They say no, but we've done it forever.
What is true? Well, that is your question..lol
Not sure, I still do it, may not be safe...perhaps..that's whats wrong with me.. :P

lie, I do it all the time, just when you open it again after freezing it, be careful because it may spill.
