Depression is more like sadness. Depression can last a few hours, a few days or weeks or even years. Do you have cause for a worry or concern? I have found that I can be concerned over a personal issue, but when I'm not thinking about that problem, i'm not usually down feeling. Depression can make you feel physically sick as well. Of course, intense worry can do that, so if you have a reason to have a concern, talk to someone who can advise. If that doesn't help you can talk to a doctor about depression. God Bless.

Barring the nit-pickiness of those who are "worried" about what category this question is in; depression is a serious mental illness which is, thankfully, fairly easy to treat.
Worry, especially excessive worry (anxiety) can be one symptom of depression although it doesn't mean you have it.
Please go and see your doctor for a referral to a psychologist, counsellor or other mental health therapist. There are tests which can help determine whether you have depression or not.
Good luck!

You might get a better respose to your query if you put it somewhere than the "allergies" section. Depression isn't an allergy. :-)
Worrying a lot is anxiety, not depression. But you could suffer from both. The only way to know for sure is to talk to a professional.

see a therapist...they actually have a series of tests that you can take to narrow down your issues and give you a label for your issues.
