When I began preparing my daughter for pre-school, I started to teach her about the Golden Rule. From then on.....every morning when I dropped her off at school, I reminded her of the Golden Rule, by asking her, "How do we treat people?" I did this all the way through school. It became a ritual with us....I still asked her some days as she leaves for college and she will laugh and say, "The way we would like others to treat us!"
I think if we all just treated others the way we would like to be treated....it would be a much kinder earth.

i imagine as adults, we do not replace very a lot from what we discovered after we were kids. it quite is the challenge. i imagine if we took the time to imagine about what we are saying earlier we are saying it, and imagine about others peoples thoughts and such we would want to no longer say issues that we blurt out each and every of the time. fairly we are all walking round like kindergartners and in simple terms blurting out what we sense at that very second. once you've sat in the category with your little ones you'll locate that youngsters might want to be cruel. Manners are some thing a newborn learns at homestead and in the journey that they study it it consists of over into their individual existence.

Unfortunately that is not what the world wants. how many times has a teacher gotten in trouble for simply trying to get her class to listen to them.
we have areas of our country today where they don't want to tell a child that 2+2 is wrong but merely a different way of thinking.............
there is a point of come on man we need to get back to basics...........no back talking, take you hats of in the house, listen to what is told to you, accept the consequences of your behavior. that just doesn't happen anymore.
what is scary to me is when I think my kids are misbehaving and someone comes over and Tell me they have been very good.........what does that say about society??

I'm with ya!!! Personally I have a real potty mouth that I'm having difficulty breaking myself of. I'm afraid my son will be cursing like a sailor before he's 2!! I'm hoping that by the time he can speak I will have it under control!!!
