i'm no longer christian, yet I do love a million Corinthians thirteen:4-7 Love is affected man or woman and form; love does no longer envy or boast; it really is not boastful 5 or rude. It does no longer insist by skill of itself way; it really is not irritable or green with envy; 6 it does no longer celebrate at wrongdoing, yet rejoices with the reality. 7 Love bears all issues, believes all issues, hopes all issues, endures all issues Edit: I also like the single some verses down that announces... Love, wish, faith abide those 3, in spite of the indisputable fact that the suited of those is love. ...i guess that signifies that love is better important than faith, or that love is the biggest portion of religion...huh. Edit again: i'm sorry, yet i urge to variety, love, faith and need can end. have you ever loved someone, and then stopped loving them? I easily have, and the final public have besides. I once became Christian, it didnt exercising consultation, yet I nonetheless have some recognize for the religion. Have an wonderful evening :-)

Dueteronomy 22:25 But if out in the country a man happens to meet a girl pledged to be married and rapes her, only the man who has done this shall die. 26 Do nothing to the girl; she has committed no sin deserving death. This case is like that of someone who attacks and murders his neighbor, 27 for the man found the girl out in the country, and though the betrothed girl screamed, there was no one to rescue her. 28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is NOT pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.
The moral of the story, check for an engagement ring before you rape someone.

My 2 favorites are:
First, for would-be defenders of their husbands:
Deuteronomy 25:11-12
“When men fight with one another and the wife of the one draws near to rescue her husband from the hand of him who is beating him and puts out her hand and seizes him by the private parts, then you shall cut off her hand. Your eye shall have no pity."
And then there's my REAL favorite about "evil":
Isaiah 45:7
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and CREATE EVIL: I the LORD do all these things."
Is that cool or what?

Matthew 6:5-6
"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father in secret shall reward thee openly."
It would be nice if christians weren't so in-your-face about their religion. Some aren't, and I do recognize and appreciate that. However, all too many of them make a huge production of proclaiming their faith to the world.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee
