usually about 1-2 weeks, unless you are a blood thinner like asprin or plavix. If you are on these medications it may take longer.

broken blood vessels on the surface of the eye actually heal very quickly. But it can take weeks for the blood that leaked out to be reabsorbed. The only thing that would be of concern would be if the blood obstructed your vision. I know it looks awful, but really it isn't a big deal.

I burst a blood vessel when I had appendicitis from throwing up so much. It's not a big deal. It will slowly go away. If I remember correctly, though, it took a while. As in, a few weeks. Just be patient.

Actually, the blood is not in the eye but under the mucous membrane covering the white of the eye. It is completely harmless unless you have bleeding elsewhere. The blood may spread and, depending on the amount of blood, can take up to ten days to completely disappear.

It is not cause for concern. It happens all the time and the blood will absorb in a four or five days.

It is caused a petechial hemorrhage and should heal within a week.
No cause for alarm unless they keep occurring; then it would be a good idea to have an eye check-up.
I used to get them a lot; I got new glasses and haven't had one since (knock on wood)
