If it is "just for exercise" it might be permissable. However, it is difficult to find a yoga instructor who views it that way. Yoga is a meditative practice of pagan Eastern Religions, and the spiritual aspects are almost always combined with the physical aspects.

It is not just for exercise, it is a spiritual exercise that exercises the wrong spirit. If a person wants exercise let them do other forms. You do not have to call it yoga to stretch and stuff. It leads people to think all forms of yoga are o.k.

Ok, I got this answer from a Catholic against yoga. It's a foreign form of meditation that opens your mind to the devil. I'm Catholic and I don't believe that. You'll have nuts in every religion, honey.

Yoga involves meditation that is a part of eastern religions, not meditation as described in the Bible.
You open your self up to spiritual forces (demons) and not to the Spirit of God.
Yoga quite often is a stepping stone to other pagan practices.

If Yoga is not permissible then the Kama Sutra should not be permissible either.
I would like to see a source that says either church is against yoga.
