Ask yourself if you really want your boyfriend made to propose to you? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose. If he hasn't yet then he must not feel that next step. Talk to him about this do not try to force him or else you might end up with something worse.

Hello!?!?! You can't make him. Don't force it. It will only end badly. Believe me! Guys don't want to be rushed into anything. They are afraid of committment and cowards....most of the time. Let it be. If you've been with him for years and he hasn't done it or talked about, then he will never do it and you should move on. Every girl deserves to be loved truly.

You can't MAKE him propose; if he did, he'd leave you eventually.
You have to INSPIRE him to propose; if you're not up to it, then tell him you're moving on.
