Far too many to sort.

That's like asking me which is my favorite grain of sand on the beach, my favorite drop of rain or my favorite snow flake.

Seriously, I am not a big reader like my daughter, I have read around 700 books in my life and then reread maybe 100. That's not counting school text books and technical training manuals. The list really is too long to type and the moment I pressed "submit" I would think of some more.

One I have just finished called "La catedral del mar" (in English, is 'The Sea's Cathedral') I don't know if it is published out of Spain, but it's a great book... In fact it has over 700 pages, and I read it in 5 days...
It's an historic novel about the construction of the Cathedral of S. Maria del Mar in Barcelona, and the life around it... The rights of the free people of Barcelona, the Inquisition, the Jews, Muslims and Christians during that century... it's interesting...

The Awakening by Kate Chopin. Because it deals with a woman's role in society and how she is expected to be a monther, wife, or teacher only. And how as much as people try to escape stereotypes, it is often impossible to do so because the rest of the world wont see you as anything else.
Another fav is Crime and Punishment because it is a fascinating look at one man's descent into madness.
Also, anything by Kurt Vonnegut is fun to read, silly, wacky, and yet philosophical.
I just bought my boyfriend "Me talk pretty one day" by David Sedaris. That book cracks me up. And he is loving it!

I have never been much of a reader until here lately. I finally found a book that I love. Something borrowed by Emily Griffin. It is considered Chick Lit which is an emerging genre that I have found to love!
