No one can solve this problem for you. If you are a Christian you will believe that they were real human beings. No one knows where Eden was. If you are a Christian you should believe it, if your friend doesn't believe it then nothing anyone will say will change his mind.

Well I can say there was an Eden and Adam & Eve are as real as you or I. The location of Eden isn't where many think it was. The rivers of Tigris and Euphraties were names carried to the middle east in the journey's of Adam & Eve's posterity. When the people moved and setteled in a new area they gave names to rivers etc... familiar to them from their previous location. As for humans originating from animals, your "colleague" is way off base. God created male and female in His own image(human) and he created all animal and plant life in their own shpere and commanded them to multiply in their respective sphere's. There is no mixing or homoginizing between shpere's for God's plan is a plan of order and to believe we originated in the animal sphere to move to the human sphere is complete chaos. If that were so the we would still be evolving and animals would still be evolving into humans. My wife did not give birth to a salamander and it evolved into my son; what rubbish. Your colleague is entirely entitled to his opinion, belief and views, doesn't mean they're right. Thinking about it logically it can't and did not happen that way.

The Original Adam and Eve comes from sumerian and Mesopotanian mythology. Their original names were ADAMU and TIAMAT. They were created by Enki, Ninki and Ningishzida.
Eden is actually E.DIN which translates as "abode of the rightious ones" it was located between what is now Baghdad and the Persian Gulf, along the Euphrates River. It was buried under silt from the Deluge, but has since been excaveted and appears to have been quite a large and sophisticated society.
Both Evolution and Creation are correct. The "Gods" bound their image onto the "Primitave Ape People" that came from ABZU (Africa) to create modern humans or LU. Hence the humans of Africa were called ZULU and the Xian catch phrase HaliLU-Jah.

Or so the Ancient Texts found in E.DIN tell us any way.

Tell your friend to read the Bible because it clearly says that Adam and Eve were the first humans on Earth in the first book which is Genesis. We did NOT come from animals. I am guessing your friend doesn't believe in God either. Evolution is a bunch of bull.

The Bible talks about humans and dinosaurs living together.
Evolution says we were separated by millions of years.
They are a number of places around the country and around the world where there are human and dinosaur foot prints in the same rock. (Do a web search with the key words - human dinosaur foot prints)

The Bible do no say were Eden was located. Many think that it is some where in Mesopotamia. I think that it is at Jerusalem.

God be with you.

BURIED ALIVE is the name of the book that will settle any argument that you have about this subject. The author's name is Jack Cuozzo who is an orthodontist who had an unusual opportunity to examine the heads in the Paris France musuem. Jack the author shows xrays of these heads and makes the conclusion the these were the humans that were buried during the flood who lived very long lives as spoken of in the bible. It would be worth the money to buy the book for less than $15. on Amazon

Adam (First Man) and Eve are at the root of most religious Faiths.
An arguement for man's descent from animals cannot be proven because we suffer from 'the missing link'.
Until science finally resolves this question, it will continue to be asked.
Eden is believed to have existed in modern-day Iraq.

Come on, think about it. All these billions of people from Adam and Eve. Just for sakes say, that they were the first couple. They had no protection from god as they peed him off. They didn't know the first thing how to survive or how to deal with sickness as they had been protected in the garden on eden. Did god destroy the garden after they sinned? or maybe the whole world was the garden??? or maybe it didn't exist. They had two sons, one killed the other. If they had more children then there would of been incest (ooops isn't that against gods laws). Their mortality rate would have to of been 100% keeping their fingers crossed that nobody died in the wilds. I'm putting my money on evolution and I won't burn in hell for it.

*smile* solve the problem? This has been going on forever. You cannot force anyone to believe the bible. If a person says Adam and Eve didn't exist, they are electing to believe the "proof" of man (evolution) over the word of God. Personally, I never think it's a good idea to argue with someone over the bible. If it is God's word, which of course it is, it will hold up. Give them room to disagree, listen to them, and then go pray for them that God would give them ears to hear and eyes to see.

If we originated from evolution of animals, why is there no evolution nowadays. It should hv continued..

If this person does believe in God, ask him where the animals come from. Ask him whether the animals originated from other species.

If he does not believe in God and believe in Big Bang, ask him where does the nuclei come from..

oops pray 4 him

As science student I'm sure that only from a supernatural source originated all things. From God!
