You have to assume kissing and cuddling are more than likely to be preludes to sex - if you're doing these things, chances are, he's not going to want to stop at this eventually. You have to decide whether you just want a friend, or a more complex relationship. You can make a relationship anything along the spectrum that you want, as long as you can establish rules you can both live by. But, ask yourself if you can handle kissing and cuddling with him at 7 pm, if he's got a date with another woman at 9 - my guess is this wouldn't go over well with you. Just let the relationship develop into whatever it will become at it's own pace, but you should first examine the level of intimacy both of you will be comfortable with. I'd say if he's telling you this stuff about being afraid of what might happen if it doesn't work out, that he either needs some time, or he doesn't see you as a good match for him in this regard. I certainly wouldn't push it.

If he is really interested in a relationship he would make it known. Dont make yourself to easy by kissing and cuddling because that is what he is goin to keep doin instead of saying that he is interested in a relationship. If he thinks that he is satified with what is goin on between you two then kissing and cuddlin is all that it will be while yall are just friends or friends with benefits.
I was in the same position. But, I learned what to do. If he didnt make the move, then he is not interested in a relationship but only interested in the flesh.

I think that if he's your friend there should be know type of kissing, cuddling nothing. Because all that stuff leads to SEX in the end and that could lead to the end of a good friendship if things go wrong.

had the same thing. friendship is now over. dont even think about it anymore. as soon as the sexual thing (kissing is sexual too...) comes into the topic, you can forget about staying nowmal friends. well we were together for 2 1/2 months and it didnt work out. but now we are friends again, took us one year though and a lot of drama.

Depends on the type of kissing. I have kissed girls that were only friends. If you are kissing with passion then you are headed to the inevitable.

Honey, kissing has already changed the relationship.Sounds like he wants to keep things simple, and to take it slow. Not a bad idea...

I would much rather have a friend with benefits than a boyfriend. It's less stifling that way.
