Just apply for the vacancy like everyone else.
You may have a slight advantage because you are already in the business.

Approach the human resources dept. or your supervisor and inform them that you'd like to apply for the position. Most companies will have some form of internal recruitment procedure through which the position will be advertised.
Ask yourself this first..Do I have the relevant experience to perform the tasks required of this position?
