This is really strange and i guess perverted but, I think (and my boyfriend thinks) that his little sister has a crush on him. It's like a sisterly crush and it makes him uncomfortable. (and me!) It's almost like she has become jealous of me. Has anyone ever heard of something like this?

Depends on how old his sister is - if she is young then it is normal. all little kids have crushes - especially on family members because family is all they really know. If she is older - like a teenager then yeah - it is weird and something should be done.

It depends what you mean - i am sure that if she does have a sort of crush it is the result of teenage hormones running high and it will soon get diverted onto a boy in her class pronto. I'd just ignore it.

There is a seperate issue if she is jealous of the time and relationship you have with her brother, maybe she's even protective of her brothe. Maybe she is upset she doesnt get to spend fun time with him. If this is the case maybe your brother should make time to do fun stuff with her and sometimes fun stuff all together as well as you and him spending time together by yourselves. She'll see you're not a threat and you can all get on.

IT can be difficult balancing family life and boyfriend girlfriend time but both are important and worth putting effort in. Its different and neither has to be seen as getting second best.

Try to be her friend and i am sure it will blow over soon.

She doesn't have a crush. She has lost her big brothers attention to you. So she might be jealous, but not in the manner you are thinking. He needs to explain to her that she will always be his little sister and he needs to make time for her. The best thing to do would be you and your boyfriend take her to have fun at least one night a week and make her feel like she is still getting his attention, and when she realizes you aren't the enemy all will be kosher.

Sorta. I think she feels threatened, after all, she's his sister, & probably feels u're taking her bro. away from her. Even tho she goes with the 2 of u almost everywhere, she needs some "alone time" with her bro. Or it could be, she wants to be with U. Take her shopping with just the 2 of u, or to a movie; her bro. could also spend a little more time with her, same thing, shopping , movies, or just out for icecream, whatever, as long as it's just the 2 of them. It doesn't need to be nor should it be all the time; once or twice a wk. to start, then cut back little by little.

Its probably not that she has a crush on him she might feel thrented by you. Were they close before you came into the picture? Try talking to her and let her know that you are not taking him away from her but you care a lot about him and he cares for you two and that you just want to spend time together, try to take her with you sometimes when you two go out.

I dont think its so much a crush. Some sisters are like mothers, they believe that no girl out there is good enough for their brother. I use to feel the same way, I had no fricken crush on my brother, yuk, gross! I just couldnt, and didnt want to imagine my dorky brother with some girl.

Its not a crush, not jealousy, she just doesnt like you. Nothing personal...
