I'm curious. I know I've thought about it before, but I've basically concluded that we cannot know. What do you think happened to the dinosaurs?

Well alot of dumb people are gonna say the "flood" wiped them out but then noah would have had to bring 2 of every dinosaur on the ark....and they would still be around..and then even crazier fundamentalist will say that God allows dinosaur bones to be around to confuse people about the actual age of the earth..the truth is...There isn't anything about where the dinosaurs went so anything anyone says with reference to the bible is making stuff up.

Pre-Worldwide Flood (Noah) time, people were living until they were like six hundred. This is because there was another layer surrounding the world: a hydrosphere. Genesis 7:11 states that the two sources of the water for the flood were 1. all the springs of the great deep and 2. floodgates of heaven. The floodgates of heaven is the hydrosphere (heaven also means sky).

Anyway, before the flood people had much better air to breathe because of this layer of water. The oxygen level was something like fifty percent! That must have been pretty sweet. But, this made all living things able to live long lives.

It is a fact that reptiles grow as long as they are alive. So before the flood, the reptiles must have gotten to big sizes because they lived longer. After the flood, they decreased in size because they decreased in life expectancy.

Maybe you've held a dinosaur in your hand at a petting zoo. Shocking! :)

Oh yeah, dinosaurs did make it on the ark! God wouldn't have made big, old dinosaurs come to him. All of the animals were young - if not babies. Younger things are in better shape. Noah probably even had dinosaur eggs on the ark.

Before the world was flooded there was no rain the water would come out of the earth from cracks (springs). The world was surrounded by a mantel of water that filtered out the UV rays from the sun and also cause the oxygen to be very concentrated. Because of this lizards grew very big which are dinosaurs. After the flood they were still around but the didn't live as long nor did they grow as big. We still have relative to the giant dinosaurs living today and if they had the super concentrated oxygen they to would grow to be huge. Lizards don't stop grow like humane and other mammals do. It does talk about dinosaurs in Job in the Bible. Before the flood humans had a life span of almost 1000 years and the same is to be said of dinosaurs which is why they got so big. Now we don't have the protection from the sun's harmful rays which age us real quick and the oxygen is not pure. This is why we don't live that long either. Check out the articles on drdino.com they have a lot of info about dinosaurs and what happened to them.

Before the flood, everything and everyone had longer lives. The dinosaurs just kept growing. If a crocodile lived nearly a 1000 yrs today it also would grow pretty big.

I guess the dinosaurs died in the great flood. They were originally brought forth from the waters though (Genesis 1). There was the behemoth still after the flood & also the sea, fire breathing dragon (Job). Unless Job was just told about them from God or passed down his family tree at story time. But it writes like the behemoth was there at the time threatening to drink up the river Jordon. It is possible the behemoth was a baby on Noah's Ark. The fire breather lives in the sea so didn't need to go on the ark.

The Bible doesn't really say anything about the dinosaurs. But the Bible doesn't exclude the possibility of their existence. Some people will tell you they just didn't exist because the Bible only allows for a 6,000 year age of the Earth but that's just not true.

Do You read the Bible?

The Bible does not "say" what happened to the Dinosaurs.
It also does not say what hapened to ADAM and EVE
after Seth was Born. Nor how many children they had.
Nor what happened to Mary- mother of Jesus or His stepfather Joseph.

But what the hey. I can live with all that is in there.
The important part JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world he gave his only beggotten Son that whosoever believes on him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

So I guess the Dinosaurs perished-they didn't believe?

on the grounds that there is not any point out of dinosaurs in the Bible, they would not have existed. that's in basic terms an difficult hoax performed on us by God, the only purpose of which became to debris with the minds of believers. The fiction that human beings and dinosaurs existed contemporaneously became stepped forward to coordinate faith and technological know-how, because it grew to alter into clearer that dinosaurs honestly had existed. Or the guidelines of geology we see around us on the instant are distinctive from those that have been performing in the previous human beings discovered to make precise observations. ?°)

They were taken on the ark with every other kind of animals they were probably young so they were not very large). Today we call them lizards.

In the Bible dinosaurs are called dragon, Leviathan, Behemoth, and unicorns.

Lizards keep growing all their lives. Before the flood things lived to be hundreds of years old (because of the ice shield, which kept out harmful sun light. The air pressure was about twice as high and so was the oxygen content. Today doctors use these idea to help heal people in barometric chambers).

There are no dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible; But there is mention of by the using of ordinances(laws) all perish = extinction, and mention of as in Adam(them: Gen 5) all die = extinction, and mention of we all are one and if one died for all then were all dead = extinction; which would be kinda dinosaur-ish, or child-ish, or devil-ish, allegory speaking, as the Bible does being therein self-defined as "allegory" in both "covenants", and also as "mystery" to solve, written aforetime for our "learning", to go learn what meaneth I will have mercy, and not sacrifice; and that the not part is not then, not now, not ever with God never desired sacrifice for sin, nor ever took pleasure in such law law.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
