Most men think it's money. I want to clarify, here, that we're more interested in stability. If you've got a job at McDonald's, there's a good chance you won't be able to make your rent every month. If you're an office manager, you will. It also shows that you're responsible enough to plan your life. Good stuff in a guy.
Also, most guys we meet are just plain jerks. They have no desire to find out who we are, they just see a "hottie." Please understand that, in a sea of these guys, the one who finally wants to understand us is like a gift from heaven. (Imagine you're rich, and every friend you have only asks for money... it's like that.) But of course, there are guys who've figured this out and gotten really good at *faking* interest... they're the biggest jerks of all.
So, due to the above, the only way a guy will really be interested in me is if he's got the same hobbies as I do. That means that if I enjoy B-movies like Toxic Avenger, and you have a collection of them too, you're suddenly much more attractive than a guy who only watches Adam Sandler movies and pretends to want to watch my B-movies in order to visit. (Or whatever my hobby might be.)
Just go to any bar and watch the guys hitting on the "hottie" girls. See how they act? Don't act like that. That's what we want in a man.
They lie their butts off. We want honesty.
They treat women like meat. We want to be treated like people.
And the inverse. Just because men judge women on their looks doesn't mean women do that. As long as you don't look like a mutant Picasso painting, you're fine.
Some thing for, uh, size. Any size is fine as long as it's larger than a nickel and small enough to fit. We don't care nearly as much as you do.

Honesty, self confidence, fidelity. Financial stability, good manners, thoughtfullness, generousity, and a man that doesn't stare at or talk about other women, and is interested enough in what I say to leave the tv off when I say it. A man who loves his mother and sisters, but can put his significant other first. A man who can appreciate my independence, but still insists on holding chairs, opening doors, pumping gas, taking the trash out, and scaring the monsters out from under the bed.

A woman wants someone that is going to be honest, someone that won't play games with her emotionally. Someone that has integrity, spirituality, and someone she can be proud to have by her side. Gotta have some goals and some skills. We don't want no scrubs! (at least if you're smart)! And that can treat us like a lady and not a piece of beef jerky. Lol.
