So, I am a girl (better get that clarified right off the bat), and I have always been kinda shy. In high school I didn't date at all due to my shyness and nerdiness, but now as a college student I've definately come out of my shell. But, I still can be shy at times, plus I overanalyze everything, so I'm usually hesident to make the intiative when it comes to dating tactics. I usually wait for the guy to initiate the kissing and whatnot.....plus I 'think' guys tend to like that since they are biologically programmed to be the dominant one in a relationship. I have no problem with being receptive and following the guy's lead.....but I sometimes wonder if guys like it when the girl is bold and takes control? Is it a turn-on or turn-off for the guy when the girl makes the intiative?

Females are the most confusing creatures on the planet. Because of this...most guys tend to be VERY cautious when it comes to making the first move. They may flirt like freakin' CRAZY from the get-go, but they don't want to look like a jackass moving in for the kill only to get slapped or pushed away.
In other words, you would be doing any guy a big favor by making the first move. I can't imagine any guy being threatened by that. If there is such a guy, he's probably a conceited prick anyway and isn't worth persuing.
Now to back up what you were saying about guys being dominant by nature...this is still completely true, but generally not until a relationship has begun. Once you make the move and something starts...he'll want to take control (at least to some degree). Good luck!!

Most times in order to get something that you want, you have to make it happen. Women should be bold to a certain extent. I think most guys like a combination of being dominant and submissive in women because it keeps things interesting, you don't get bored. Take the initiative, I think men like it.

There are some guys that like the woman to make the first move. You migh need only to grab him and hug him or give him a little kiss and the game is on. He will take over and may not even remember you started anything.

The times a girl made the first move with my I loved it. Sure go for what you want just be careful some morons out there may think you're easy because of that.

It is not a turn off. It is very refreshing.
If you go with your gut and your heart you shouldn't have any regrets when it comes to love and relationships. Sometimes it is best to keep your over active mind out of romantic affairs.

depends on the guy- i personally fell if you like someone just go with the moment- if it's a good moment to steal a kiss then do so. But never let a guy control you!
