Your girl/boyfriend invites you to see a show. One of his/her friend's bands is playing. You have no better plans, so you say sure, you'd be glad to. Later on, you find out one of YOUR favorite bands is playing somewhere else, and both of the shows are at the same time, so there's no way you could make both. What would you do?

Id say go with your boyfriend/girlfriend and see the band. You made those plans first, and after all, he/she is your boyfriend/girlfriend, and it might get them a little down or upset that you broke off plans with them. Its also nice bcause it shows you support their friends too, by going to see their band. Thats just what i would do if i were in the situation

You can either keep your friend or make new plans. But it's very unlikely you'll be able to both watch the bad you want to watch and keep your friend, life rarely works out like that, trust me.

stick with the first plan.

maybe if you tell them that your band is playing too, you could compromise and see half and half
