i teach english in a non english country. in my country it would be quite uncommon for a 23 yo girl to not have had a bf before.in the other country the students range in age 18 to 23 and a very large pecent of those have had a bf. So i would say that it is uncommon. That does not mean that is wrong, bad, disgraceful, or any other thing, if you have not had a bf before. By 23, many girls have wished they had never met several of their previous [immature] boyfriends

Ummm.......its a bit uncommon. Most people by the time they are 23 have had at least 1 boyfriend in their time, but it doesnt mean that there is something wrong with you or anything. It just means that A) you are a very picky person or B) you just dont want a relationship.

When you take 10 girls 8 of them will have had a boyfriend by age 23. Girls who have remained single till age 23 may either be serious academicians or very ordinary looking (not beautiful, maybe too tall or too short). As for being a virgin at age 23, it's another topic altogether.

NO, not at all. Everyone has their different times to do certain things. There's nothing in a book that says you have to have a boyfriend at a certain age. You wanna hear something funny, I had my first child at 25 and people was telling me I was long overdue! I thought that was wierd. I think that I had my baby at an alright age, because I was giving myself until 30. But the point is you set your own clock, and you know when it's time to have a boyfriend. Get one when YOU get ready, men ain't goin' no where no time soon.
