I don't know if it's always the case, but I do know if a girl hops in the bed with a guy the first date or so, then whats to say in his mind, that she does that with every guy she dates. It does show a man that she has a little self respect. Also if a woman holds out long enough and the guy is still there, treating her with respect and love, then she will know he wasn't there just for the sex (most men don't wait that long, before they would just go on to the next woman in line, if one don't put out) I think it does make a guy respect her more! I remember in health class in high school, the health teacher asks all of the guys, "Who has had sex already" and of course most of the guys (even the ones who hadn't ) raised their hands. The teacher then went on to ask "Who wants to marry a virgin" and all of the same guys raised their hands. I think guys look at it different, they think its ok for them to go out and have sex, but when it comes to a serious relationship, they don't want a woman that has been around the block, (used) So if you don't wait and get in the bed with them too soon, they will feel as if they weren't special and that's just something you do with any guy you had a relationship with. Just my opinion, and how guys are different than girls on that subject. Yes, you should wait, (just a thought) Take care, and have a good day!

Yes! Guys like to go out and have their fun, just the same girls do to. But we all know fun is fun, and its over shortly. When a guy is looking for a girl that he will eventually want to marry he doesnt want a one night stand that never left! It also will make a guy trust you more and feel more comfortable in the relationship. He wont have any thoughts of you cheating on him, because he knows your not the type of girl that does one night stands. Ultimately he will have a great deal of respect for you, and it makes for a stronger relationship.

i think if a man loves the woman they will wait and they wont have a problem with it but if they are just in it for the sexual relations then no they arent gonna wanna stay and they wont have respect cause that is what they want but if your with someone like i said that wants to be with you then he should respect your decision

With my first partner, I held out for about a year too. I didn't wind up marrying him.
I slept with my last boyfriend on our second date. Now he's my wonderful husband and the father of our beautiful baby girl.

yes, because she a lady 4 waiting and if you give it up easy then guy would not have respect 4 you he will think yuor a hoe.

really and truly i do because i feel that a guy is not looking fo ra gurl that is quick to open her legs cause he may feel that if she opened them that fast for him then she has done that for every other man she has meet.
