No I did didn't, but I know someone who did. They were pulling out of the dealership and somebody hit them from the front. I mean the car hadn't even left the dealership completely, the back tires were still on the property still. Brand new Toyota Corolla wasted (totaled). Next week the person got a different color after the insurance settled the claim. I have pictures hehehe. Will use them to blackmail him later in life.

I got a new car for a high school graduation present and the 1st day driving it I decided to pass somebody and then make a quick right turn. Needless to say my right turn did not turn out very well. I ended up getting rear ended and my back-end of my car was on the other side of the road and all my CD's scattered everywhere. It was a little mercury capri convertible and that was the last time I ever drove it.

Not that uncommon. Getting through the first 2 weeks with a new car is a dangerous time. The reason is simply that the driver is not use to the car yet. When you go searching for that AC switch that you haven't ever used before, you're not looking where you are going.

There is a road near my house which eats cars alive. I once saw a white Cadilac wheels up in a ditch destroyed. The sticker was still on the window with dealer tags.
