If you make a wooden idol, and call it your deity--as some humans do (and have done throughout history). And, someone comes along and destroys it--does it still exist?
Existence is an idea of the mind. As long as a mind conceives a thing, that thing is manifest--at least, for that mind. We cannot prove it, or disprove it.
We either believe, or we don't believe.
Those who believe, usually believe "proof" inevitably will come.

If you're going to go that way, you have to define some more horrible criteria first. Like what is 'Now'? If I can prove a Deity doesn't exist 'Now', why assume the proof is valid a moment later? and 'Where' do you measure 'Now' from anyway? Time passes at infinitesimally differing rates for all things relative to their respective vector velocities, remember, so 'Now' is a relative term and it's relevance is questionable. But given this essential, demonstrably universal truth, perhaps a more fundamental question is 'How is the integrity of anything maintained, at all, ever, even for a moment?'. And when we understand that, maybe we can start to think about proving the nonexistence of things.
Agnosticism is the only tenable opinion of deity, people.

There isn't much point in discussing the non-existence of something except for a bit of interesting philosophical debate. The arguments against a deity could be the fact that the natural world is characterised by brutality and suffering therefore questioning the idea of a benign creator or perhaps the most compelling is that 99% of all species that have existed are now extinct. What was the point of creating tens of millions of species that no human ever encountered if humanity is the focal point of some divine power?

The burden of proof lies on the shoulders of the person making the claim; and extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence -- if I say I have a flying saucer in my garage, the default isn't that I DO own one unless you can prove otherwise; I need to put up, or shut up.
And so do you.
Now....that having been said, I CAN prove that the biblegod, as described in scripture, is impossible and therefor does not exist. One does not have to search the entire universe to know that there are no "square circles" or "married bachelors", since logic alone can prove that no object that has such mutually exclusive traits can possibly exist.
In a like manner, there cannot be a god that is "infinitely merciful and compassionate" who then proceeds to torture people forever and ever, (whatever transgressions they may have committed against a being who, by definition, can never be harmed or diminished in the first place....)

No. The lack of evidence of a thing doesn't mean it definitely does not exist. Simply means it's beyond our capability to define it scientifically. That is not to say, though, that just because one can't prove it's not there, doesn't mean it Definitely IS there... This is one of those things that, for now, both sides lack the power to prove or disprove such things. So, any debate that comes from it, no matter how emphatic the speakers... is merely opinion. And speculating on such things really does not bring about facts. I can speculate on most anything that isn't completely proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt (scientifically), but those are just words... and my opinions based on what I have seen of it.
So, on this one, everyone who says "prove it" is stuck... there's no way to do it.

Technically, no. You would have to be able to search every corner of the universe to be sure he/she/it wasn't hiding under a rock on some distant planet. But, the burden of proof is on those who insist a diety is there. Specially when said diety refuses to show itself when asked to by many many people, includeing myself. Think of it this way : You tell a friend to call your mom for you. You know she is usually home at a certain time, but when your friend calls, no answer. You go to her house, knock on her door, no answer. Did she leave? Did she die? Your friend has never met her or talked to her on the phone. Heck, several people have told your friend that you are a nut, and that you were raised as an orphan, and you have no mother, you just imagine one to fill a void in your life. There is no evidence that your mother was ever at the house you claim is hers. But, a fire destroyed the records that the orphanage had about you. So, there is really no clear evidence of where you came from. Who is right? By default, if your mother never shows up, it is impossible for your friend to believe your story. That is a big part of the problem we realists have with belief in a diety. A different explanation is just more likely for most things deists credit to a diety.

Of course not. You can't prove NOT.
I said it when they demanded Mr. Hussein produce evidence that there were no weapons of mass destruction.
I said it when the unemployment office demanded I prove I didn't receive a paycheck for a certain period of time several years ago in a terrible ordeal I expect never to repeat.
You can have pictures, receipts, eyewitnesses accounts, paystubs, etc. to prove something, but there is absolutely nothing you can do to prove something does not exist, or did not happen.

Evidence or proof presupposes material, matter. Thus this is a backwards upside down question designed to stop our minds.
Like asking; "can wet ever be dry?" What?
Define your terms then ask the question. Semantic tricks are childish at best.

That’s easy; you are proof positive, because your very existence is a mystery. A stamp of approval many times over, copy after copy of God’s image. But after so many copies, some like you needed a resurrection like Jesus Christ to prove their existence of this deity called God. Then there are the living dead, you are to shun, they belong to the underworld and their deity is the devil of many faces, islamics are there name, your death is their game and aim.

Everybody's going to say you can't prove the non-existence of something. I've asked this question before and that's all I heard.
