I heard this from the History Channel of all places (but my memory is sketchy):
Back in the day, people were so obsessed about the evils of sexual pleasure that they started cutting off the foreskin (who is they? I'm not sure but I think those crazy religious types) which was the most pleasurable part of the penis for men.
The tradition just kind of stuck for hygienic and aesthetic reasons.

and what if i am a muslim and can not grow a beard or my wife does not like covering up her entire body?
I would definately think that God did not design us very well. Whats there to hide or cut off?
By the way I am not circumcise and proud of it for it has never caused me or my wife any complains. We remain just as perfect as God intended us.

No, God gave the Jews a that command for obedience sake(like when God told Adam not to eat of the tree of knowledge), the new convenient did away with such legalism. If you read the Bible you will find that was a big argument, we do not have to be circumcised to be saved.

I think these religious folk should cut off their tongues instead of their foreskins. How about a frontal lobotomy or leucotomy to remind them of god,
What's wrong with these people?... have they got altzheimersor something so that they will forget about their religion if they aren't mutilated?
I guess if I had a hideous looking scar right the way round my penis I might be reminded about God too but in the wrong way.

No, circumcision means taking off the old skin, and letting it heal, and God restoring heath.
Read Romans 8.
That's what it meant.
God did not create Junk, he created flesh, that if the flesh would take control of its own life, could be spirit, and reap, super natural benefits.
But the ones who will not circumcise there hearts.
by the reading of the word of God.
Well, its ones choice. Not Gods.
He just gave the book to help us find him, and what he wants from us, and faith to change the things we can not see into things we can.
If people would read the book, not judge God.
If I bought a new car, and did not read the Manuel, If I did not know I was to change the oil, rotate the tires. change the driving flood, even put gas in the thing, how far would it get me?
If you do not read Gods word, you wont get very far.
You run out of gas, or you just refuse his word,
Not his fault, he gave you the book.

Circumsicion was used ritualistically in the Bible - Lev 12:3 "And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumsized." It has nothing to do with "design" - circumsicion was used to mark the Jewish covenant with God.

Circumcision is part of God's law. It is one of the things we are told to do by God, it is one of the many instructions we have from God.

No, because it was not done from the beginning. It was over 1000 years before the practice went into affect. By that point, genetics and diseases had developed as a result of of Adam allowing sin to enter into the world, so circumcision became necessary. God designed us to be perfect, but Adam chose a woman over perfection and paradise.

He knew what He was doing from the beginning. You don't understand spiritual things I guess. Circumcision was a covenant between God and his chosen people. God had this plan all along. Blessings
